Naomi Osaka's Stunning 'Billie Jean Bling' Outfit Shines at US Open 2025
Naomi Osaka dazzles at the US Open 2025 with her unique 'Billie Jean Bling' outfit and red roses, securing a first-round victory.

Naomi Osaka made a grand entrance at the US Open 2025, captivating fans with her unique and dazzling outfit. The two-time champion stepped onto the court with a striking red ensemble adorned with sparkly red roses in her ponytail, which she named "Billie Jean Bling." This eye-catching look was complemented by a matching Labubu, adding a playful touch to her appearance.
Osaka's performance was as impressive as her attire. Seeded No. 23, she defeated Greet Minnen with a solid 6-3, 6-4 victory. The Japanese star revealed that her Nike outfit was the result of extensive planning, while the idea for her hair accessory came together more recently.
"It was really elaborate, because the crystals are really hard to do on a performance outfit," Osaka explained. "I just thought it would be really fun to do a New York under the lights. I'm glad that my first match was a night match, because this outfit was really fun to play. This is my night outfit, so hopefully I'll wear my day outfit next time."
Osaka consulted her stylist about the concept of incorporating roses into her ponytail a couple of weeks before the match. "I was like, 'Do you think this is possible?' Maybe it was two weeks ago," she said. "Yeah, we kind of just toss ideas around. Obviously, the outcome is way better than I could have imagined."
However, the elaborate hairstyle was not practical for playing tennis. "I did always know I was going to take the hair off, because it is really heavy," Osaka admitted. "There were a couple of times that I played in braids, and even that was kind of borderline. So yeah, I just did it for the presentation."
Osaka's blend of fashion and athleticism continues to make her a standout figure in the tennis world. Fans eagerly anticipate her next matches and the potential reveal of her day outfit.
