Lando Norris Dominates Dutch GP Practice Sessions, Sets Stage for Thrilling Qualifying

Lando Norris leads McLaren's charge at Zandvoort, topping all practice sessions ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix qualifying.

Lando Norris Shines in Final Practice

Lando Norris continued his impressive form by topping the final practice session for the Dutch Grand Prix, edging out teammate Oscar Piastri by a significant margin. Norris, who has won three of the last four races, completed a clean sweep of the practice sessions, showcasing McLaren's dominance at Zandvoort.

McLaren's Strong Performance

McLaren has been the standout team since F1's return from the summer break. Norris, last year's pole sitter and race winner, has been in stellar form, setting the fastest times in all three practice sessions. His final practice lap was 0.242 seconds quicker than Piastri, reinforcing McLaren's strong position ahead of qualifying.

Challengers Struggle to Keep Pace

George Russell emerged as the nearest challenger to the McLaren duo, but the Mercedes driver was nearly nine-tenths of a second behind Norris. Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari continued to struggle, with Hamilton ending the session in 14th place, a massive 1.401 seconds adrift of Norris. Charles Leclerc managed sixth place but was still almost a second off the pace.

Looking Ahead to Qualifying

Qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix is set to begin at 3 p.m. local time (2 p.m. BST). With McLaren's current form, all eyes will be on Norris and Piastri as they aim to secure pole position and continue their championship charge.
