Newcastle Falcons' prop Murray McCallum has officially signed a new two-year contract, committing his future to the Premiership side despite their ongoing struggles. The 28-year-old, who has earned three caps for Scotland, joined the Falcons from Edinburgh in 2023 and has since made 40 appearances, scoring one try.

McCallum expressed his enthusiasm for staying with the club, stating, "My family and I are buzzing to be sticking around. We've made it our home, I can see improvements happening at the club, and I really enjoy coming into work every day."
