Mbappe Set for Copa del Rey Final Despite One-Game Suspension

Real Madrid's Mbappe available for Copa del Rey final after one-match ban.

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe will feature in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona this month despite receiving a one-match ban for his sending off against Alaves. The France captain was shown a red card during Madrid's 1-0 La Liga win on Sunday for a lunge on Alaves midfielder Antonio Blanco. A commission decided on the lenient one-match ban, meaning he'll miss the La Liga fixture at home to Athletic Club Bilbao on 20 April. This season, Mbappe has scored 33 goals in 49 appearances for Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti's side also have a Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
